Here called Santa Monica Beach.

How’s the decoration?

At my first sight, I thought it was a bad luck, just looked like a grave.

But after I read about the introduction, I know the meaning.

Every cross represents an American soldier killed in Iraq.

And the star represents a Jewish soldier, the moon represents an Irish soldier.

The coffins which covered by national flag, they mean the amount of soldiers who died last week.

They have been here for 2.5 years. The goal is to solicit and collect contributions for the soldiers. I think it just likes the purpose of Remembrance Day.

After I asked for the meaning of this decoration, I changed my mind. It’s no more bad luck to me.


Santa Monica is one of the most attractive beaches in North America.
